Honda Brio introduced in Indonesia for the first time in 2012 as the first city car segment that Honda offers. Within the first year of sales, it has reached 14,914 units and received many awards in Indonesia.

In 2013, Honda Brio comes with new Brio Satya variants in response to LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) program by Indonesia government. This model is almost entirely produced in Indonesia with the local content percentage of 85%.
